1) Q: What
if I disagree with one of the rules?
A: Too Bad! Just kidding. That question has been asked a lot and is a great one. We know that some people may disagree with some of the rules that are submitted. There are times when we read some of the Submissions and are left wondering just how that rule could ever have made it out of the Club with a 79% approval rating. It is for that reason that we have added the Sidebar Forum section to the site and have also given you the opportunity to vote on the rules. Therefore, if you disagree with a rules, then vote the Rule down. If you find a rule that has been voted in, and you can not live with it, then add your Sidebar and let that be know.2) Q: Is there some way to get a complete printout of all the guy rules? I'd like to share these with a couple of my buddies that don't have a computer or internet access, but printing them out one by one is a real bitch. C'mon guys, help another guy out! (Steve)
A: We made a decision early on that we were going to publish a book which contained most of these rules. But we did not know how or when we could do this. We want to, at some point, publish EVERY rule that is submitted, however, we have to work out copyright stuff and legal issues with publishing others' rules. We have, however, finished our first book and it is available at www.bn.com or www.amazon.com or any other book outlet. This book is a compilation of rules that we started the site with, however, it does not contain other than the rules that we wrote.3) Q: Gentlemen; may I be the billionth guy to ask this: what is the most common answer to your club members "penis size" question? Hey, a guy needs to know these things! (Ari Korpela)
A: This is one of the most frequently asked questions and we think that it is worthy of an answer. The answer is "Big enough to..." but we feel that people could do a little bit better job. What we use this information for is when you come to the site, you will see the "penis size" is used to describe Club GuyDom. When we built the club we decided to ask this question and see what people would say. The one that -G thinks is the best was from a Guy living in Sydney, Nova Scotia. He said: "It's so big it won't return Speilbergs calls." I love that one!4) Q: Are you Guys Gay?
A: We find it kind of pathetic that we have to answer this question, but then again it speaks volumes for the very existence of GuyRules. So let us answer the question. No. But we have no choice but to laugh at those Guys who ask us that question, or throw it out there like some kind of "left hook" at our sexuality. We know that homophobia runs rampant within the Realm of GuyDom and we hope to make a butt load of cash exposing it.
5) Q: Is
there a girl rule site? (Tina)
A: Yes. We started www.galrules.com and have begun collecting "their rules" but we are GROSSLY unqualified to run that site. We have begun to put a team of young ladies together that can really kick start that site. We are working with the same Gal that started www.Divineinspiration.com. She has been putting together a good plan to make that site hum.6) Q: How long has GuyRules been online?
A: We posted the site on January, 19 1997, however, we did not start keeping track of the traffic statistic until Wednesday January, 29 1997. At that time we only had three developers working on the site (-D -G -WP). We were a bunch of "day jobbers" trying to make a go of the site while holding down two jobs. The one that paid the bills and the other that made them. We had a great time culminating in the three of us writing our book. The site is still in good hands under the tutelage of -G and -WP.
