GuyRule # 29.: Sidewalk Control

Sub Rules:

29.0 29.1 "When walking alone toward another solitary guy who happens to be on the same side of the sidewalk, you can glance occasionally at him until he's about 20 feet away. If he hasn't moved over, look him straight in the eye and walk with a determined air. DO NOT relinquish sidewalk control. If he still does not move out of your line of advance, prepare for the shoulder brushing technique when passing to keep from running directly into him. You may nod at him, but do not apologize. If he is much larger than yourself you can abruptly cross the street, or pretend to drop something and stop to pick up, forcing him to move around you." -Scott Result not available
